Totebag

The Neatest Totebag Class

This tote makes a great gift for Christmas, graduation, birth or other special occasions!

Come join in the fun at Augusta's home.  Class taught by my dear friend, Jackie Gearles.  Learn to make this one of a kind tote. Jackie  doesn't like rules, she likes doing things with fabric outside the box. Don't miss out on the excitement!

Confetti

Confetti

This is a beautiful quilt that uses your assorted 2 inch squares or strips. The four patches units are put on point and this quilt builds very quickly. It is a "happy quilt" that is indeed a scrappers delight!
Start your collection of 2 inch squares and strips and let's start a confetti quilt.

Snappy Squares

Snappy Squares

Too many little squares? Looks can be deceiving. Use your scraps and strip piecing to create this snappy quilt. This quilt uses squares and triangles to make this scrappy delight. Set the blocks on point and you have a great quilt that was "sew"easy to make.

Curved Log Cabin

Curved Log Cabin

WOW! Can you believe the come back of the Log Cabin? Some traditions are just too good to let go. Now we have made it curve! The curves are created by using different size logs. The logs can be made from your stash or with fat quarters or a combination of both. Beginners as well as advanced quilters are equally intrigued with this design. The pattern possibilities for the log cabin are just endless, so come make your blocks and play with the plentiful potential designs. See you on the curve!

Mystery Class

Mystery Quilt Class

Take a chance to create something that will be a mystery to you until the last clue!

Feathered Star

Feathered Star

This feathered star quilt probably has you wishing on a star that you too could make this beautiful quilt. Lots of small pieces may have your head spinning, but with step by step instructions this feathered star with saw tooth border turns out perfect every time. You will be amazed how easily this design will go together. Good templates or a rotary cutter will make your wish come true. Large scale prints work well for making this design. This is a 6 hour class.

16 Snaps

16 Snaps

"Creative Stash Reduction." Each block is a different mix of fabrics. Use strip piecing to sew lights, meduims, and darks together to create this simple but snappy quilt. Use your stash of flannels for a cozy country look. Setting the blocks on point with plain fabric can give another look to this quilt.

Pinwheel

Pinwheel

The new rage! These pinwheels are from a book by Eleanor Burns. The pinwheel quilts of primary colors were created for my two grandsons. This design is perfect for making two matching quilts simultaneously. The one quilt is the mirror image of the other. The third design has a dark center pinwheel with the mirror image on the corners or borders. A great two for one deal!

Quilt Garden

Quilt Garden

This quilt has endless possibilities. A stash of scraps and strip piecing is used to create this quilt. Sew the strips onto a plain square and you have beautifully bordered squares. Your next challenge will be to decide how you want to arrange the squares. The plain centers can be used for a friendship block, applique, intricate quilting design, novelty print or a family album. This design can be used to make a baby quilt, a wedding quilt, or an anniversary quilt. The possibilities really are endless as you wander down the garden path.

Snappy Scrappy Stars

Snappy Scrappy Stars

Are you seeing stars or squares? You can be a star when you create this beautiful scrap quilt of interlocking stars and squares. Leftover fabric or charm squares are wonderful for making this quilt.

Sunny Lanes

Sunny Lanes

A fun scrappy quilt made with 4 patch units and half square triangles. A fabulous new way of piecing these units using 5 "squares"! From the book Nickel Quilts by Pat Speth and Charlene Thode. Guaranteed to be addictive!

Snaps and Stars

Snaps and Stars

Everyone loves stars! Use you scraps to make the 16 snaps then frame with stars. A New Original! A square or point separates each star.

Batik Star

Batik Star

This quilt is so easy and yet so striking! You can use your stash and see wonderful results. For this quilt to "pop" it helps to use a sharp contrast of lights and darks, I used batik fabrics but regular calicos work as well. We will make nine patch blocks and split nine patch blocks to achieve this spectacular result.

Cutting Bee

Cutting Bee:  Milky Way

A Cutting Bee is so much fun and has been getting rave reviews! You will use ½ yard cuts of fabric, cut strips, share with others, and begin a new scrap quilt all in one class. You will have many, many possibilities from this "sharing session". Make new friends and a new quilt to cherish forever from this "group" project. No two quilts will be the same.

Milky Way

Scraps Galore

Scraps Galore

Do you have scraps, scraps and more scraps? Do you love scrap quilts? If so, then this is the class for you! You will choose 2 color families and work with color and design. The possibilities are endless... just endless

Snappy Fat Quarters

Snappy Fat Quarters

Using 12 fat quarters you will make this attractive new quilt! We will do a little "Stack and Whacking" then a "Shuffle" to create a fast piecing fun project.

Pinwheels Spinning

Pinwheels Spinning

Pinwheels spinning is a great pinwheel quilt using your bright scraps and a background fabric. The quilt comes from the More Nickel Quilts book, using 5 inch squares making the picket fence unit, which forms the pinwheel.
