of flannels for a cozy country look. Setting the blocks on point with
plain fabric can give another look to this quilt.

The new rage! These pinwheels are from a book
by Eleanor Burns. The pinwheel quilts of primary colors were created
for
my two grandsons. This design is perfect for making two matching quilts
simultaneously. The one quilt is the mirror image of the other. The
third
design has a dark center pinwheel with the mirror image on the corners
or borders. A great two for one deal!

of scraps and strip piecing is used to create this quilt. Sew the strips
onto a plain square and you have beautifully bordered squares. Your next
challenge will be to decide how you want to arrange the squares. The

the More Nickel Quilts book, using 5 inch squares making the picket
fence unit, which forms
the pinwheel.
